Improvements for approval requests and waitlists

This improvement improves two specific scenarios and provides a better user experience for the involved parties in the approval flow.

Approval flows can be set on training activity level to help facilitate any type of "gated" access requirements. In practice, an organizational manager, an immediate manager, or a named person can be defined to approve any enrollment requests. Very often, a gated enrollment also has limited seats. It is in the crux between these two scenarios that the user experience has been improved.

• If a Manager or an individual who has basic permissions has been defined to approve a request, this will now clearly show that this is an addition to the waiting list, through an improved interface.
  • Option to Approve will be changed to Add to Waitlist, if not seats are left.
  • Decline will decline the request.
  • Automatic emails will be sent to the person who had requested the enrollment along with any other related automatic email workflows.
• If a person who has high level administrator rights has been defined to approve a request, this will provide additional options through an improved interface.
  • Option to Approve, to add a user, if free seats are still available.
  • Option to Add to Waitlist if all seats are taken.
  • Option to Enroll anyway if all seats are taken. This will increase the seat restriction automatically, on this activity. This allows an administrator level approval to handle exceptional cases.
  • Automatic emails will be sent to the person who had requested the enrollment along with any other related automatic email workflows.

An email informs the responsible course administrator about enrollment request. The enrollment request is also listed inside the activity itself.

The enrollment requests are listed, as there could be multiple. The responsible course administrator can approach each user individually.

The user

The user who has requested access will also see the status reflected on "Trainings I attend" section.

• Enrollment requested when this request is still pending action from the approver.
• On waitlist when the request has been approved, but no seats remain.

3D viewer annotations enhancements

The 3D viewer now has options to include Header and Body text options. This is included with an icon for more info which includes a sidebar with customizable styles like bullet points, highlights, bold, italics, underlined, etc.
